New NLRB decisions, affecting both union and non-union employers, have outlawed numerous commonly used policies, practices, and work rules. Violations are now subject to much larger monetary penalties. Chances are the model severance agreement and confidentiality policies you now use are illegal. In addition, OSHA’s new safety initiatives and various state activities on such things as recreational marijuana require changes to your operations as well.
