Safety Program Awards

The DBX Safety Program Award recognizes Builders Exchange of Dayton Members that have demonstrated a commitment to improving jobsite safety through development, implementation, and enforcement of a safety and risk management program.  Applicants must be a current Builders Exchange of Dayton Member Company with a documented safety/risk management program. 

Judging will focus on each company's overall safety program, its means of communication and training, and its safety policy. All identifying information will be removed from each application before it is judged anonymously by OSHA/Workers' Comp Attorney, Gary Auman and a committee made of member company safety directors. Please also note that your company's safety record is not judged, so don't let injury rates deter you from applying. This program is designed to not only recognize you for your commitment to safety, but to also provide you with an in-depth evaluation of your safety program by an industry professional. Because of the unique nature of this award, you can use it effectively with your clients, insurance company and even OSHA.
