Full Service Plan Room and Online News
Builders Exchange, Inc. offers an easy to use online reporting service which tracks over 14,000 projects per year. The BX reports on projects throughout the entire state of Ohio as well as the bordering counties of Kentucky, Michigan and Indiana. As a member, you have access to our physical planrooms in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo and Dayton or real-time project information online. Online information includes leads for projects in the prebid stage as well as out for bid, bidders lists, apparent lows and contract awards along with plans, specs & addendum online. Create an online filter or track projects you are interested in bidding to receive a nightly email to alert you to new projects which fit your scope of work or changes made to projects you would like to bid. With an upgraded membership, you have access to the SAM Search – Spec and Addenda Mining. Search the entire spec book or addendum for a word or phrase and find your results in seconds.

Safety Seminar Series
This includes Quarterly Safety Directors Meetings and a series of safety seminars including OSHA 10 hour, OSHA 30 Hour, Confined Space, and Powered Industrial Truck.
Drug-Free Workplace Training Service
DBX Staff are qualified to do both Employee and Supervisor training. We can perform this service either at your firm, or you can take advantage of regularly scheduled group training sessions in the DBX Classroom. For more information call Rachel Pinkus.
Legal Services Plan
This plan provides members with the ability to get back their investment in dues many times over. Every BX of Dayton Member is entitled to one free telephone consultation per month with attorney Bob Dunlevey of Taft, Stettinius & Hollister, LLP. This firm specializes in business, construction, occupational safety and employment law.
Team Building Night
This is an annual event where the BX of Dayton provides an evening for General Contractors and Subcontractors to renew business acquaintances and to establish new business contact between Generals and Subs. The evening also includes the presentation of the Annual BX of Dayton Craftsmanship and Architectural Awards.

TekCollect specializes in early intervention on delinquent accounts. Their persistence, professionalism and pricing are unparalleled. And their service is completely Web-based for the most convenient, accessible, real-time account management solution available.
TekCollect caters specifically to small- and medium-sized businesses, enabling them to establish long-term relationships, provide personalized service and generate aggressive results. They successfully manage a portfolio of 30,000 clients around the country. And their recovery ratios are three times the national average.
All DBX members receive key account status. A designated TekCollect Account Manager will contact you on a monthly basis to review the status of your accounts receivable, implement custom solutions, and provide ongoing personal attention and support.
For all DBX members, TekCollect’s custom program includes two phases of aggressive collection efforts. The Primary Phase involves a series of professional contacts beginning with an Audit/Balance Verification notice. They follow up with strategic telephone campaigns, plus up to six high-impact written contacts, the final being an Attorney Demand. All delinquent accounts are reported to the credit bureaus. And for any debtors they are unable to contact, wthey will conduct electronic database skip tracing. Payment is directed to the DBX member for immediate account reconciliation and to help preserve and maintain the customer relationship. For more difficult collections and possible litigation processing, DBX members can elect to implement the Secondary Phase. At the conclusion of the Primary Phase, accounts that still remain delinquent can be transferred, with the member’s approval, to TekCollect’s Secondary Contingent Recovery Division.

Natural Gas & Electricity Program (BX Energy Program)
The Builders Exchange, Inc. (“BX”) has partnered with Community Energy Advisors (“Community Energy”) to educate and empower BX Members to take control of their energy costs. The BX Energy Program is designed to provide a full suite of energy management services to BX Members.
In today's volatile energy market there are plentiful opportunities to shop for a better rate. Community Energy utilizes a competitive bid process to ensure BX Members receive the best rate. In addition, they specialize in the analysis of the entire bill to deliver savings and ROI from the utility
side as well.
1. All BX Members may request a free assessment of their utility bills to determine where savings opportunities exist, even if you are in an existing supply contract.
2. Enrollment is simple. Email or fax your most recent month's electric and gas bills to the BX. If it is determined that the program can provide you with a more competitive market rate, you will be provided with an authorization form that will enable you to be enrolled in the program.

Verizon Wireless
Member companies having phones registered under their company's federal identification number can receive 22% off their Verizon Wireless bills on programs that are $34.99 and higher. With our new partnership with NPP, the discount would come off the primary line only (account level line). The account level price gives the account the unlimited minutes and messaging and then they choose the amount of data they want on the account (1GB, 2 GB, 4GB, etc.). Again, this account level cost does receive the 22% discount. All employees can register their personal liable phones (registered under a social security number) for a 15% discount or 18% if they choose the paperless billing option. Everyone will receive a 25% discount on accessories.
